"Supplies," Nin answered coldly. She had no time for this nonsense, she needed to get back to the ship before nightfall.
"Why Miss, I didn't mean to annoy you, I simply want to make sure all our visitors are welcome!" He reaches out to put an arm around her, but before he can Nin catches his arm and twists it backwards. He whimpers in protest.
"I'm perfectly welcome," Nin says with a sickly sweet smile on her face, "now LEAVE ME ALONE, I don't have time for whatever you're trying to do," with that, she lets him go and pushes past him, into the bustling marketplace. Nin looks around, getting lost in the colorful stalls and wonderful aromas in the air. Her nose takes her to a stall with a familiar old woman giving out little pastries.
"Hello darling, how can I help you," the woman looks up from the counter and some familiarity comes back.
"Anya?"
"Oh Nin darling how wonderful to see you, come in come in," she bustles Nin into the back of the tent and onto a little stool. "Hold on one second darling I'll get you some tea, it's your favorite," After some banging from the side room, Anya comes back with a steaming cup of tea.
"Thank you, but I'm afraid I can't be staying long, I have to be getting back to the ship,"
"Oh Nin, you and that ship, when are you gonna settle down? Get a steady job and husband, some kids. That's what you need, not running around with this pirate scum like your mother,"
"Anya I already told you, I'm not doing that any time soon, I'm happy," Nin tries not to roll her eyes as Anya sighs in disappointment.
"What brings you here darling?"
"We need supplies, we're running out of fresh food and water,"
"Hmm, perhaps I know someone who can help with your problem,"
