Yelena Vodha grew up in a humble adobe along the outskirts of the Kingdom of Norland there she learned quickly the works of evil. The most potent of evils being the Vodnik. With ease, she used her determined spirit to work her way as a spy for different organizations to help keep an eye of the evil within the kingdom. She was around 14 when all was said and done, the girl ready at last to see what the world had to offer. There at the Church of Red Faith she learned to control aspect of her magic and gain knowledge of a deity she'd adopt as her own. Despite this, her twin sister (Di'anne) did not agree with the ways of the Church of Red Faith and chose instead to join the troubles of the smugglers realm, much like everyone of Amn. Yelena Vodha is tainted with the curse of short life like most whom are born from the race of Highlanders, girthy and hardy with strength. She is proud of her culture and ready to stand with her arms in battle along the frontier with them. As a Highlander, she trained in both close combat and using her magic for defensive manners to keep herself safe. Though despite- she jumps obliviously into battle without thought of the consequences.
Her mother is still in the picture alive and well; however, that being said her father was lost in a coal mining accident while on the job.

Yelena felt ill to her stomach from the churning sea that swept her to this city. The human looked to the man who spoke and dipped her head in acknowledgement. Why was she here? That question seemed to have troubled her the days it took to arrive to this shore, one - that in all honesty - she still did not have an answer to. "I suppose we will wait in see, good sir. The prophets already know my story, I am just mindlessly lost at the moment. Unsure of my next move in life. Perhaps a drink at the tavern to start would fair well." Yelena answered
earnestly.
