Thoin son of Gloth and guard at Kal´Akash. After decades of securing the cities gates, in 1518 the rebellion 'mountain monarchy' started. 2 years in intense battle for the city left me some battle scars but most of all a desire to leave the wars behind. Only way to do that was leave the city and not turn back. All my life was given at that point towards the city and the Legion, I wanted a life of my own. In all of this time I was never permitted to be on patrols going outside the mountain. I envied those other guards, seeing the light, seeing the world. It was time for me to go out adventuring I wanted to see the world smell the outside air.
One morning one of my fellow guards got ill and I was called for a patrol outside the mountain, finally my dream right there in my grasp. I decided to leave, so I snuck out of camp on the snowy hillside that same night, never to return to my life as guard.
I traveled the road alone for decades. And then one day there it was the gates of Kaz´Ulrah.
