Born in the year 1632 in the village of Fernswood, Ladel Perry was quite the curious halfling using his plentiful time studying bugs and small innocent creatures; his ears and ever present interest alert always for distant tales of bigguns and those bearded far away Dwarves. Though this keen young interest faded when their family moved to the village of Dunshire in 1645, at the time when he was 13, largely due in part to him seeing far more bigguns (humans) far more often. Speaking with humans at this early age resulted in him being more outlandish and louder then most. The rest of his youth he spent at the Dunshire Lake, sometimes fishing, sometimes not, sometimes daydreaming and staring for hours into the clear rippling waters that foamed with silver on the crispy thin shoreline.
As his halfling years piled on he began to take on his fair amount of work load in agriculture, farming tatters or as bigguns & others would call em' 'potatoes' and all sorts of crop. He also spent more time at the tavern drinking with humans, soon his visits to the lake becoming seldom. The only notable confusions in his considerably early life (for Halflings) being the First Election of Dunshire, but that quickly faded out of his memory. Now he spends times working and socialising, nothing ever seeming to change in his comfortable life.
