Jon Szalin was born in a traditional isolated town in Arcas, a human one of-course with a strong zeal in the faith of Canonism. His youth was spent learning about history and faith, alongside with play-fighting with a pitchfork as his dreams was to be a warrior as every young village boy! Though, one day - his unfortunate play fighting resulted in a death of a fat prized village chicken, making his already poor family in debt to the chicken farmer. When he was trying to earn back the support his family, he went to the family rival 'Nasral the Brute' and attempted to beat him up, though, since he was weak he failed and was beaten to a pulp himself, resulting in even further negative reputation for himself Once he grew up to a young man, he was forced to leave due to his reputation and his family blaming him on the death of this chicken. William didn't mind, instead he looked forward in travelling the lands in search for wealth, renown, and of-course, opportunity. Eventually he ended up in the city of Ves. He was interested in enlisting in the local milltia if they'd have him. He spent his time at the tavern looking for potential contacts while working out everyday, and explore the city and the Kingdom, looking for opportunity or someone to show him the ropes on the life of a soldier.
