Vanji lived a wonderful life with his close knit family, which included his father, mother and little sister. He lived in Adelburg, most of his life and was surrounded by those who were extremely intelligent. He focuses mainly on pursuing knowledge and the true joys life brings and is deeply passionate about sharing that with his family. Due to his sheltered childhood, Vanji is very weak when it comes to physical confrontations, which bothers him immensely. After a incident with a Mountain Dwarf when he was exploring regions around Adelburg, he promised himself he would become stronger. He vowed to keep making knowledge and the true joys of life his priority while also exploring the world and becoming stronger. Vanji, now 20, has left his family behind and is traveling alone in a world he does not know.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
