Born and raised in Lareh'thilln, Arcas, Iylees had a seemingly perfect childhood. Her parents were both highly regarded elven scholars, she was a very spoiled only child. She had a close friend in her youth who had the same thirst for knowledge as she did. However, when Iylees started taking interest in the other races, her friend disowned her. She said that she talked about them as if they were equal and because of that, she was impure. To never speak her name again. Since that time in her life, Iylees swore to herself to keep that part of her studies a secret and to keep from getting too close to others. When she was 73, her mother admitted to her that she had been impure. She was impregnated with the child of a human! She trusted Iylees with her secret, and she was right to do so. However, Iylees did not hesitate a second to disown her mother and go to travel. Iylees may have a house, but she is looking for a home. She is acquainted with many but truly known by few and that’s just the way she likes it.
”Knowledge.” She replies simply. “And maybe some bread.” She takes a few confident steps forward.
