    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is to have conveniently acquired knowledge the character you're playing as doesn't have, simply because you know it. For example, if my character were to of grown up a hermit living outside the city they shouldn't have knowledge of the said city's inner workings.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is to have a certain strength that is unrealistic for a character of your origin to have. Whether that strength is physical, mental, or emotional. An example of this would be for my character, without any experience prior to working with magic, all of a sudden were to start casting spells would be power gaming.

He'd stand a little stand offish, Uncomfortable with the man's charisma. After a few seconds of thinking it over however he'd respond by saying. "I have questions I hope can be answered here.." And then he'd look down at his feet with regret. "I'm sorry if that was too vague! Would you like me to elaborate, sir?" "I guess you could say I'm more looking for work than anything, heard I might have some family in this part of the world that could help me with that."
