    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using out-of-character information about something in the rp , in the rp

    For example : Vance is brand new to the city. In an RPG post, Vance identifies Alucard as a member of the local vampire clan. Vance also verbally states the clan’s name.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Being way too powerful (op) without giving people time to react and ignoring the effects of injuries , potions etc

    For example : Tommy has an oc called Nightshade that is a powerful and evil lich. Tommy claims that Nightshade can't get killed / harmed / poisoned or knocked out and that he can kill people just by touching them.
