Unlike his most tolerable brother Kushor , Baltazar was keener on reading books and maps of the places he visits. He never considered himself poor at conversating with people, but Kushor always seems to have the knack for closing up trade deals with even the stingiest kind of people. Baltazar assumed it was due to Kushor always hanging around with the other 9 siblings that they both shared. Thankfully most of Baltazars kin were off in other cities or back home in Hyspia. He had to think of how he came to this situation of entering into a merchant relationship with his brother. He needed more books and more things to learn, and his brother needed more money to do who knows what with.
They had begun to talk in the last few days of opening a shop in some city that neither of them could decide upon. He gazed out upon the city he was currently in. It would do he guessed as well any, but he would have to talk with Kushor. Speaking of Kushur, Baltazar looked up from his book and hopped from the cart he had been resting on. His brother had been talking to some old lady and had been discussing past tutoring and other aspects of his life. As always, he was letting his emotions skew the facts. Kushur had been telling the old lady about how their tutor, a famous playwright, had made terrible plays and only taught him basic life needs.
Baltazar sighed, "Master Pial was a wonderful playwright brother and if you had any taste you would agree. Besides I highly doubt any of those 'Friends' you had could understand the complexities of a good book or play." He then looked at the lady," Apologies for my brother and his obtuse ways of conversing but we must be going he seems to forget we have to find a place to rest tonight." Baltazar returned to the cart and waited for his brother before they both went to search for a tavern.
