    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you take outside information that your OC does not canonically know and use it in-game. For example, ordering the assassination of a rebel leader that no one knew about.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: When you make an OC too OP, for example, if a character hits every attack and dodges everything.

Aech looks at the man and smiles. "I'm here to live life to the fullest, I suppose. Embrace freedom. As for elevating my place in society? I'm alright in the middle." They shake his hand and move to walk past him, bumping into his knees, attempting to steal the man's ring. "Oh! So sorry, I'm not used to being around such bigguns!" they lie, "Good day!" If they succeed, they walk past and smile to themself, playing with the fancy man's gold ring. "He won't miss it, I'm sure." As they walk through the market, they flip the ring into a beggars hat without blinking an eye. "Embrace freedom, indeed."
