Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Aeron's eyes scan over the old hag's appearance, debating whether or not she should humour this request. She sighs and slowly takes a seat, her armour clanking quietly in protest. She laid her trusty satchel down next to her which gave a small jingle from it
"I... I come from far.. I've travelled through many towns and kingdoms" she spoke firmly, yet not unkind. Her voice was gruff and yet still filled with youth
She continued her story "I take on jobs as either a hunter or a slayer of monsters... I'm not too experienced but I will do my best if it earns me money to keep on my travels. My father has taught me well after having me... my brothers often sparred as well, which I was allowed to watch, yet not join... why do you think is that?" her head tilts ever so slightly "unfortunately I don't know much about this land, but I am willing to learn... I promise I mean no harm" she added softly...
