    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when one emotes in a way which does not give another character time to react or if one emotes in a way that their character cant emote

Aika was born in Santegia into a merchant family. She was raised very well, as she was an only child. This led to her being a favorite of both her father and mother. Often her father would take her on caravan trips to distant lands, such as Renatus and Adria. These experiences gave her a good- no a great business sense as she grew older. Her mother imparted on her a many great deal of things, perhaps what she took most to was crocheting, which she became very skilled in over the years. She also learned many other useful skills from her mother such as cooking and other household duties. She grew older, her parents became older and older, and one day they passed. They left her a small inheritance, but she didn't have much of it left by the time she turned 18.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
