Aymon was born in a small town in Elvenesse where he lived with just his mother, Haleth, on the edge of the realm. He never knew his father, which many other Elves found very unusual. At the time of his birth there were very few other Elf children around, yet even if there were more his mother would have prevented Aymon from interacting with them. Aymon was almost never allowed to interact with anyone outside of his mother, as she was incredibly defensive. She taught him that she was the only person he would ever need, and that everyone else was untrustworthy and would abandon him. His mother brought him books so that he could be educated within his own walls. As he got older and more curious of the outside world, he would sneak out to discover the things that he did not know of, making friends and memories, learning to defend himself, and becoming skilled with bows. At around age 17, Aymon was caught and his mother was so distraught at his double life that she locked him inside for a year. It was almost as if she was a direct follower of the actions that Malin had attempted to protect his children. While alone, Aymon learned more and more about the evil and good of the world, and grew curious of the stories of Iblees and the curses he left behind. At 18, he attempted to reason with his mother about his home torment. In the end, she ended up abandoning him, unable to cope with the weight of being a mother anymore, leading him to have a vicious fear of attachment and abandonment. However, at 19 he finally left his old home, searching for knowledge, power, strength, and freedom.
