Briar steps off the boat, eager for a new change of scenery. As she steps off she takes in her surroundings. She sees the bustling civilians, hears the sellers yelling about their wares. As she’s taking it all in a man approaches her welcoming her and asking, “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?“ Briar looks the man up and down, taking him in as well. She takes a deep breath, composing herself and replies, “Adventure.” There is just a bit of excitement in her voice, but it’s quickly masked as Briar maintains a cool stature and walks past the man, blending into the city keeping an eye out for adventure.
