Cedar Peregrin (formerly Cedar Fernpot) was born in Brambleberry with his twin sister, Myrtle Fernpot (Now Myrtle Peregrin). Cedar's father left at a young age and he was raised by his single mother, Edith. Edith was a simple farmer and cook. She lived off the land and trained her two children to do the same. Edith was a generous soul who cooked for the downtrodden, and raised her children to be proper halflings. Long trips searching the woods for ingredients fueled Cedar's curiosity and love of the woods and it's natural wonders. After his mother fell ill and passed, Cedar and his sister were taken in by Iris Peregrin, a woman who's altruistic spirit reminded him very much of his departed mother. His mother's passing inspired him to study the plants he loves so much to discover their healing properties and help those who suffer like she once did.
