    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you do things that are extremely unlikely or unfair.

Lae'Vardor was born in Aegrothrond to Lae'Charu (his father) and Lari'Maethill (his mother). His father was a well respected military general and master swordsman. His mother was a world renowned actress. He was being groomed to follow in her footsteps but when he was twelve, got lost in the most dangerous part of the city for a month, forced to eat garbage and fight much larger elves to survive. Eventually, a social worker recognized Lae'Vardor and brought him home, but that month traumatized the young elf. Two weeks after being brought home, Lae'Vardor decided to quit acting to become a swordsman, although he would ultimately continue acting in his free time. By the age of sixteen, he was a better fighter than most enlistees in the military. When he turned twenty, right before he joined the military, his father passed away from a major stroke. During his mourning, Lae'Vardor swore to honor his father's legacy, master all forms of combat, and become the youngest person to become a general in the history of the militia.

Roleplay Scenario:

"Good sir! I, Lae'Vardor, have arrived in this mighty city to continue my journey of becoming a master warrior! To prove my might to the leaders of this great nation! To learn every way of combat, be it blade or bewitchment! To continue the legacy of my father, and honor my ancestors!"
