Adralei grew up with strict parents who trained and educated her and her brother at home. She learned from a young age how to make and wield weapons because her father was a weaponsmith. She has two weapons of choice for these were the two she was trained the most in and that she is best with, these are the longsword and the dagger. Although ironic that these two are pretty much opposites of each other, she learned to be decent with each of them. This is the path her family wanted her to take as well. She however, even as a young elf, had decided that this is not the path she wishes to take. She wants to explore what lies ahead of the town she grew up in. Her grandmother, the person closest to her, is the head of the family. Next in line is her father, then her mother, then her, and then her brother. Being the head of the family means that your word is law, this is how it has always been among the dark elves. Her grandmother has always told her stories about what came before her and about the different races, mostly the wood elves, and about her ancestors.
Adralei returns the smile to the man before her, "Adventure and knowledge is what I am after, and perhaps a tour or some backstory on this place." She walks up to shake his hand then thinks better of it and instead goes to speak again, "My name is Adralei Xesheart, I am new here but you already knew that of course." She stands there for a second, thinking carefully about what she was about to ask next because she didn't want to come off as rude. She stands her ground and asks, "Speaking of which, how did you know I am new here, it seems to be a big place?"
