Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Ludwig took a seat on the cushion and looked towards the crone. Sorry madam, I am just passing through. My story? I seek revenge and glory. My family was slaughtered along with my whole village. By these dogs (bandits) who call themselves the Hidden Hand. Now I wonder from town to town, surviving these harsh lands. I am skilled with the hammer, I am good at forging blades and I can handle a blade fairly well. I must be on my way now. Möge Gott mit dir sein. Ludwig finished his tale and climbed to his feet and walked out of the tent.
