Evanstar Nivis was born into a middle class Mali’fenn family in the city of Fenn. While she was young her mother and father pushed her toward a scholarly career, her dad being an author and her mother a professor. Her parents also encouraged her to try out different things, and so at a very young age Evanstar found interest in swordplay and tactics, as well as her normal studies. She also enjoyed studying different cultures and their people.
Then at 20 yrs. as an army cadet, both her father and mother unexpectedly took ill of a deadly sickness that had been spreading and died soon after.
Before the death of her parents she had never had to experience anything dramatic, painful, or hurtful. Now suddenly the things she most cared for were gone.
Hoping to get away from all the things that reminded her of her parents, she studied and worked hard in the army, soon rising through the ranks. Slowly over the years the wound that had opened at the death of her parents started to heal.
At 50 years she was employed as a captain, and was known for her coolheadness, swordplay, and knowledge of other cultures which came very useful in multiple situations.
Then at 80 years of age Evanstar left the army and set out to looking for adventure and to explore different cultures for herself.
One of her great weaknesses is when talking about other elvish races, she is very prejudiced about snowelves being the wisest and most skillful of them all
