Cedia Westha can be described as a ‘pure-blooded’ Norlander, on guard 24/7, very distant to newcomers. Cedia runs herself on the desire to improve life for the future generation, knowing that she would want it for herself if she was born 100’s of years later. Earlier branches of the Westha tree showed a rough life indeed, many of the men in the family sacrificed their lives during the Eighteen Years War, leaving what's left of her family generations later without wealth, foraging off the land, gathering, and hunting, like many of the Norlanders, are left to do. Cedias upbringing was not one of kindness. Her mother was lost Cedias earlier years due to an outbreak. Her father, ravaged by grief, fell into a deep state of depression, leaving the 5 children of the Westha household to fend for themselves, and the useless father figure. Cedia took it upon herself to care for the remaining 4 children, making sure they had more, always. If she could get them to slumber with full bellies (as full as they could get), she considered it a good day. She taught herself how to forage, hunt, and how to best protect herself while alone, how she most often was. She deigns for more, wishes for a better life, despite her harrowing efforts to make her siblings happy. A constant nagging of adventure nips at the back of her heels. A life she knows she could never have. With the other 4 children grown up, and able to care for themselves, her wish from independence grows more and more every day.
