    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using OOC knowledge IC, for example, telling your friend to help you in a fight through discord or /msg (etc.), when their character is elsewhere, and wouldn't be able to tell your character is in a combat scenario.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Forcing an outcome to an action, which the other party/player didn't agree to, without allowing them to attempt to do so. For example, instantly putting someone in a chokehold would be power gaming. Describing the actions, which would lead to the other person being in a chokehold, while giving them a chance to respond to one of them in a way, which would prevent that from happening, is acceptable roleplay, and not power gaming.

He muttered back in the direction of the man, turning his torso towards a bag at his left as his gaze remained locked around the stranger, snapping towards the item he was to pick up.
"Though, if you do care, you most likely do have a reason. Mind sharing what business you have with me?"
His hand raised up with the bag, once more returning his attention to the man. A well-dressed man would come either from nobility or was a very succesful businessman - either way, someone who had most likely little business with a poor commoner.
