    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Meta Gaming is when someone uses outside knowledge in an unfair manner as to ruin the rp experience, such as one character giving information to another, when in rp, they could never know.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When a character roleplays in an unrealistic manner, such as a character wearing chainmail being highly acrobatic, or a halfling being able to instantly decapitate an orc.

Fled from far away lands, Borin is looking to leave behind his life as a criminal and find a new one in a new land. As a boy, he grew up with a gang of bandits, as he was taught that stealing and plundering was the right thing to do, and the only was to sustain himself. However, after killing a family and their child during a break-in, he realized what he had become. He stole away past the mountains, through the rivers, and over the valleys he had always known. He left behind everyone and everything he even knew, and came to new lands in hopes of a better future, knowing full well that he might fall right back into his life of crime. He stumbled over the sea and landed in the lands of the Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah. After meeting the dwarves of the land, he elected to stay for a few years and earn his food and shelter, and a little bit extra. His days in the mines and his work at the smithery made him an experienced blacksmith. After having earned enough to travel, he journeyed to Marna and made his home among the people there. To this day, he works whatever odd jobs he can find, yet still hungers for adventure. Due to his dark past, he is prone to sudden outbursts of rage, given the right situation. Although he tries to be as virtuous as humanly possible, he will do what is necessary to accomplish what he believes is right.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
