    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: For me, metagaming is the usage of information learned out of character in order to gain leverage while roleplaying.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: To me, powergaming is when a character enforces an action over an other.

Ashradi never knew her parents. From a young age, all that she could remember was Faeleng and his parents taking care of her. When they found her that night in the forest, they didn't think twice about taking her in. With their help she had what you can call a good childhood, with both of them making sure to teach her all they knew. Soon she became a strong, agile "warrior" that made them extremely proud. Still, through all of that Ashradi couldn't help but wonder who were her parents and why they had left her. 

 

One day the worst happened, their house was attacked and both of Faeleng's parents were killed. Ashradi and Faeleng almost didn't manage to escape but with a little help from Ashradi magic they survived. Now alone and on their own, they both decide to help each other in this new adventure that lays ahead. Ashradi would help Faeleng in the search for  his parents murder while Faeleng would help Ashradi in finding her real parents. 

Character Name: Ashradi Shadowclaw
Character Race: Dark Elf
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 25
Physical Description: Ashradi is a 5'7 tall, slightly muscular grey skinned dark elf with light purple eyes and silver hair. Dressed in black and purple leather.
Roleplay Scenario:

"Hello, good sir." Ashradi responds with a hint of sarcasm. "Can you tell me if, by any chance, you have seen this people around here?" Ashradi says as she points to a wanted poster on her other hand. 

"Hhhmm, can't say that I have" says the man as he shakes his head. 

"Thought as much" says Ashradi in a lower voice

"Well, thanks for nothing! See ya around" Ashradi says as she walks towards the bar she had seen.
