    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using outside resources, otherwise found in the real world, that would give the player the upper-hand in-game. Metagaming takes away from the fairness and legitimacy of in-game content, since it does not allow thing to happen naturally/organ
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Performing something in-game that is not likely to happen. Powergaming enforces actions upon other players that could be considered impractical or have the appearance of taking advantage of someone else in-game.

Artyces is continuously on the hunt for knowledge, adventure, and creative outlets. While preferring to work alone, she recognizes opportunities that might be best while working with to others. She appreciates building communities among those who would not otherwise build relationships. Even though she likes working in solidarity, she also appreciates being surrounded by those who are looking to share laugher, smiles, and tears. Artyces prides herself in her tireless work efforts, and she will sometimes spread herself too thin in her endeavors. At the end of the day, all that she has she has earned. While the High Elves hold high ambitions towards the arts, Artyces find her artistry in the way she can put immaculate events together with intricate floral designs, well-prepared food, and clever themes that always have the masses coming back for more. On a more political note, Artyces seeks to have the High Elves recognize that love should have no bounds and that the High Elves should toss their ideology of “pure bred” to the past. Artyces has always seen past these ancient mindsets, and she has detested them since her days of growing up in Haelun’or.

Physical Description: Artyces appreciates bright colors, eccentric outfits, and changing things up every now and then. She is currently wearing an outfit from Sailor Venus.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Hey! So first i’ll just like to say you’ve done well with your application, though I do have to put you on halt for two reasons, your PowerEmoting/Metagaming and biography! 

 

  1. The Definition for Power-Gaming(Emoting) / Metagaming requires to be a bit longer, this is just so we can get your understanding on the definitions. If you could expand on these, it’ll be great.

  3. The biography requires at least two lore references in lore. To fix this one up is easily as i’ve linked below the High Elves wiki where you can get assistance. The lore references you’re looking for are, city names, past or current, events and or locations. If you find a way to put these within your bio it will be an easy accept.
