    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone's character overpowers other players, to the extent where they have a higher chance of winning.

Karyssa Tsitak (translated to peacock maiden) is a High Elf that was born on The Grand Harvest in Okaen'thilln in 1648. She was born into a wealthy family, and many things were passed down onto her. Despite this advantage, she turned out to be a kind soul that wasn't afraid to give to people who needed help. She is 6'0", has silver/metallic, flowy hair, with an adjusted flower crown. 

Her fair skin gleams with passion and good intentions. Her intense, purple eyes fit her ombre blue and purple robe.

 

When Karyssa first entered elementary, she noticed that her classmates weren't as fond of sharing as she was. She felt isolated and lonely, since everyone was depicted as, "rude," or, "insensitive." A few weeks later, she met Signe Nykvist. A girl that was just like her. Compassionate, and not afraid to share her emotions. They became close, "sisters," later on.

 

Most of her society didn't agree upon giving other races even a look in the eye, but Karyssa thought otherwise.

 

When she turned 24 (current age), she later moved in with Signe in a new house, and their journey has just begun.

Physical Description: (6'0") Kind and compassionate, compared to her fellow High Elves. Best friends with Signe (whom is also a High Elf).
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
