Born as the fifth child of a laynoble in a minor backwater nation, and believed to be the final child, Artur was given the best education possible with the money of his father. He easily completed all of his studies to be prepared to be a good noble of the land. However, not all went his way; his father had another child. This child that never should have been was given the education that Artur was given and more, though he never did actually learn how to do anything. He merely threatened the instructors with his authority as the inheriting child of a noble.
Artur decided to go out on a journey, when he came across a Wonk making camp along a road, and joined him for the night. They shared their stories and ambitions, getting along splendidly with their common thirst for knowledge and distaste for nobility, and decided to travel together to the Talus Grove to study.
Artur knows the inefficiency of the nobility, and seeks to create a new order based around merit, rather than blood ties. He has yet to sort out the details, but he plots to stir chaos within the nobility and ensure control of the land is given to those who are competent, for the benefit of all. To him, even the Inferi are a valid tool for the creation of a more perfect society, if he can but reach out to one.
Artur looks upon the gentleman with a look of suspicion. “None of those things concern me, unless they can help me achieve my goal. I don’t know anything of your origin, so I can’t tell you what my goal is. I’ll be on my way, good sir. Good health to you.”
