Annabelle Kelmenour was born and raised inside the walls of the Princedom of Fenn. All her life, Annabelle has never known her father. This was due to the fact that her mother, Leah Kelmenour, had Annabelle at 25. Annabelle’s father was ashamed to have a child at such a young age (for elves that is), so he fled the Princedom of Fenn, never to be heard of again. In her childhood, Annabelle’s mother worked very hard to take care of Annabelle. She worked two jobs, one as a barmaid at the local tavern and the other as a teacher in Fenn. Now that Annabelle is old enough to live on her own, Annabelle’s mother is retired and travels the world. Because Annabelle was an only child, her mother was very protective of her. Her mother was so protective over Annabelle that she had never been outside of Fenn before. Annabelle has always been curious about the world outside of Fenn. She’s always been eager to learn more and more about different topics, but this curiosity has led her to be very gullible to new information, believing anything someone tells her. This has gotten her into trouble many times before. From a young age, Annabelle has always been kindhearted and trusting towards others. She is kind to all and trusts all, sometimes at the expense of herself. Annabelle has always valued knowledge over strength and has never liked the idea of war. Annabelle, like the other kids in school, went through the same military training but she has never considered pursuing a career in it. This has always contrasted with the culture in Fenn. Although she disapproved of war, Annabelle has always believed in the Mali’fenn saying, “Chul o’tilru” meaning “to serve is a must”. While she doesn’t fight for the Princedom of Fenn’s military, she does her part to serve her people by helping other Mali’fenn in any way she can. All her life, Annabelle has always practiced the ways of Thill’al and has always steered away from impurity to the point that others sometimes think she is a child due to her innocent nature. Now that Annabelle is older, she plans to venture out into the world and explore different kingdoms while expanding her knowledge of the world.
I stumble backwards in surprise. I look at the man and smile back at him, “Hi there! Your city is incredible, I’ve never seen one so big before!” my smile grows larger, “I’ve come to learn more about your wonderful city.” I gasp from excitement, eyes wide, “Do you think there’s a library around here? I wonder what kinds of books they have!” I glance around the bazaar, searching for signs pointing to a library.
