    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: it is like making yourself a god. You gain control of the situation. For example *Touches the door and now everyone loves that door*

 Reese grew up on the outskirts of Haense doing small jobs to help her family. Her family lives life without strong religious and political values. They spend most of their time working and playing homemade games together. When the cold winter weather passes through their land, Reese resorts to spending her time with her eldest brother John. They walk around outside picking up sticks to fight with. John taught her how to defend herself and how to be kind and understanding. Her curiosity grew with her. As time passed, Reese continued to find herself overwhelmed with the need to know more. The simple life she had always lived just didn't fit her anymore. She started learning to read and write instead of playing games with her brothers. She took the knowledge from the books into any job she did. Creating new ways to accomplish a task was something she was gifted with.  Reese Adams is an intelligent young woman with a thirst for knowledge. If you were to have a conversation with her you would notice that she is a very stubborn individual with a kind, humble heart. Reese is now on her own journey, traveling to learn more about the world she calls home.

Character Age: 19
Physical Description: Reese has long unkept blondish hair that goes with her muddy face and pale skin. She wears old baggy clothes with formfitting pants.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
