As most wood elves, Koril Valwynn was brought and raised up in the capital of the Dominion of Malin. Koril's father, Elmar Valwynn, was his biggest idealization. He always looked up to him. For most of his childhood, he spent most of his free time in the greenest of forests which overwhelmed him - there was not a time where he didn't spend time in those forests. Koril always used to climb up trees and swing off of the branches onto other trees; usually to compete with his father. During Koril's twenties, Elmar travelled east to keep a negotiation treaty between the two domains of Krugmar and the Dominion of Malin, and was due to return to Koril and his mother a few years later. Even as his father left, Koril stayed in the trees.
This all changed when he reached his mid-thirties.
Koril's mother after ten years finally told him the truth about his father's death. As Koril's only idealization has left him alone in the open continent of Atlas, he felt deceived. He ran away from home, abandoning the forests, abandoning his mother, abandoning his past. For the next four decades, Koril learnt the ways of hunting and stealth, using these skills to survive alone. For the longest time of his life, he's been alone in the deep forests.
