    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: metagaming is the usage of ooc knowledge in an rp situation, such as being in a call with a friend and them telling you they are being attacked in a certain place and they tell you their coordinates and you use these to interrupt the attack
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: powergaming is when a player forces outcomes for themselves and others without the accountability of what can be do in a realistic setting, like drawing a sword, using the sword to chop the head of a great foe like an orc in 1 swipe and killing them in the spot after starting conflict 30 seconds prior, or dodgeing all attacks coming their way or being immortal

azuma was raised in a cozy town of elves near a mountain range in a forest, he lived there for about 12 years with his parents magda and oliver until a mud flood swooped the entire town with few surviving, he was one of those lucky enough to survive but at the cost of being trapped there for many weeks until found by his uncle who was in close contact with his parents, his uncle kaz brought him in to live in the farm his family inherited him, it was a bit isolated but he had his 3 cousins to make best friends with, andrea, markus and carmelita, during the next 6 years hed spend his life learning how to be kind and to tend to the barn animals and the farms, hed dream of having his own farm as markus was expected to inherit his uncles farm when it was time for him to go to war against the horde in defense of malinor, azuma was indeferent about this war, he just wanted to make a refuge for lonely souls and so he sets off to meet new people after saying goodbye to his cousins

Roleplay Scenario:

"nothing of the sorts, kind merchant" azuma would chuckle "i seek a place to work, make a bit of coin to start my own farm in land, would you be so kind to point me to the nearest tavern?" hed offer a kind smile, after the merchant directs azuma to the tavern hed direct his view to the bulletin board with some locals also watching the board "anything suited for a newbie?" azuma would comment, after being pointed to a delivery job hed take the bulletin and go to the tavern keep "hello" said azuma, "greetings" went the bartender, "may i inquire for a job here? i want to get to know faces and could i ask you about this job?" azuma would show the bartender the bulletin and after being handed an apron and a few words about the work place hed take off his jacket, put the apron and serve some drinks around the tables, in the meantime hed inquire the locals about streets and addresses, hed finish his work hours and hed get paid, azuma, filled with determination, would go to deliver the packages from the tavernkeep and hed finish his day by paying for a room at the same tavern he worked at
