Musafa arrived upon the lands of Atlas on a merchant ship - his destination to where he wanted to go once arriving on this prosperous land was clear in his head and he had made up his mind already. He would search out the Caliphate so he could reside with his farfolk people. He had heard great exploits of the farfolk on Atlas and learnt of the story of how they managed to settle and fought off their enemies successfully.
He also heard how the caliphate became a protectorate of an empire, which means theyre a vassal. He approved of this because it meant there was extra protection to be had for himself. Once he arrived at the Caliphate he hoped to try and become a guard or a banker - those were the two jobs he wished to have on Atlas though theyre both very different he thought both would suit him well. Even a mix of the two could be good. As in his previous lands he did not have much to his name and he did not have much respect and this is something he wished to change when he joins the Caliphate. Time will tell though, maybe you will meet Musafa and he will have respect and wealth by then!
