As a little lad that grew up inside the protection of the soring stone city walls of Riviä, a city to the uttermost southern regions of Atlas, located in the inhospitable lands of endless nights and snowy weather that name is known to him simply as the wasteland. This desolate place, so far removed from any indications of civilization and green life itself, is the birthplace of a lad known as Augustus Valguria, a result of the union between the man known as Rodrick Valguria and his legal wife Anastasia Valguria who took his last name in marriage.

During his reminiscing of events of the past whilst his few moments of peace, thinking back to his childhood he spent either training with his father or playing in the sombre snow-covered streets. The lingering hunger whose reach extended far and wide, reeling its cannibalizing self to the surface by the day, as their dependency on trade was the only source of food was the strongest thing he remembered. The second thing he remembered during his childhood, groans and curses were thrown in its general direction by the mere thought of it creeping to the forefront, by how his body was filled with blue and yellow bruces he'd got inflicted by the training of his fathers' in the art of swordsmanship.

Oh by The Father he winched by the thought of the burning sensation of pain, a floodgate that'd opened each day during their training session since the tender age of six, as he remembered the countless beatings of his merciless father subjected him to. How he managed to survive until he reached the age of sixteen is a wonder to him, signalled by his father handing a sheathed short-sword and a halbert over to him, at first he had desired to wander the world and possible settle his roots somewhere else, possibly the capital city of Carolustadt as one example.

Those thoughts were what swirled around in his head two years ago when he'd gotten his equipment given to him by his father, using the opportunity to join the Riviä's militia. Augustus Valguria, now nineteen years of age, has now decided to join Henry de Azcona in his quest of riding his father from the world and protect the land of Riviä against the Southern threats that desire to see his home razed to the ground!
