You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Allister raises a brow as he enters, looking to the floating candles for a moment before resting his eyes on the hag. He turns to leave and raises the tent flap, believing magic would only bring him trouble, but stops upon hearing he was expected. He looks back to the old woman, suddenly curious. He'd ask slowly and with narrowed eyes, "Expecting me...?" He wasn't entirely sure why, but he decided to play along, sitting on the cushion. He clears his throat and says, "Not much to tell, truth be told. I grew up in Haense, in a smaller village whose purpose is gathering wood. I spent nearly my whole life there, visiting other hamlets rarely, and until now, never having left the area. Now, I am simply taking a few months to explore Aevos and get a feel for the land before I return home." He pauses and offers a grin, "Have I met you expectations?"
