When Russel lost his father at the War of the Two Emperors he was just 12. He had to look for his sick mother so he started working for a blacksmith who pitied him.
They often visited Sutica to buy and sell materials. One day, during those trips they got ambushed by bandits. It was just Russel and his master against 4 bandits.
That day Russel lost his master. Same year, he lost his mother too. He accused himself for both of their death and swore to protect the ones he love for the rest of his life.
