Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: Ralk takes a seat on the cushion on the floor and hands a small bag of gold to the old woman who is supposed to guide him through the dangerous swamp " I was born a goblin in the harsh orc society and not having the great love for fighting and death many of my kin had I decided to follow the path of the shaman." Rulk explained I am travelling the world to seek the wisdom of other mystics and shamans to better understand the other spirits of the world." Ralk explains while his eyes wander above looking at the floating candles illuminating the small tent wonder in his eyes about such magic before returning his eyes back to the old woman. "my people are strong and proud but I recognize the limited understanding of my race so I wish to learn how else I might please the spirits while seeing other parts of the world that are not barren sand." He looks the old woman in the eye for a moment imagines her bloody and dead before regaining control over his bloodlust "So when do we leave?"
