A wood elf, who prefers loneliness in his own forest. He is, like most wood elves, a follower of Aspectism.
He was born in the late Asulon era, in 1390.
He was around when Aegrothond was founded, and from the forest did he follow the tragic events of the now closed, declining city.
He long lost his own name, because there was nobody around him who would call him that, so eventually he named himself “protect for woods”, Beri-an Taur.
He was pure, untouched, until 100 years ago. Near his first forest a few refugee settled, but he made a pact with the leader, that the men are allowed into the forest until they dont hurt living trees and wildlife. But the settlement was growing, turning into village, then city. One day, when the city completely surrounded the woods, it was raided by woodcutters and warriors. The city knew about the pact, so they wanted to kill him, or at least scare him away. He loved mankind, particularly the ones which were harmless, but when the woods were falling, nature was in flames and the wild animals were massacred, he lost his temper, and started to fight back. When most of the men were dead, he retunred to his senses. Once he realised the greediness of the city, and the meanlessness blodshed, he left the forest. He wan unable to forgive, neither for the city, neither for himself after killing quarter of the citys population. Even now, he only wanders from forest to forest, hoping that he can settle somewhere. Somewhere he can live in peace, and love the nature. His only physical wound was the scar on his face, losing the purity of the elves, but still not looking like human, he is living in exclusion. Everytime he sees violence or greedyness, his scar starts to burn.
During the century-long travel, he met many cultures. Despite having a grudge against humans, he treated them kindly, as he did with anyone from any races. He met some dwarves, thus learnt how to build mines, he gained understanding of automatization and how to build houses underground. From men he learned the basics of farming and animal herding. During his travel he learned many languages, although he can’t really express himself any other language than elvish and english.
His one and only dream is to settle in a forest not too far from civilisation, so maybe, he can protect another forest from the greediness of any race.
”Just looking for supplies and tools. Then i wish to leave the city as soon as possible.” He said and disappeared in the crowd.
