    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: This is using OOC accessed ifnromation in a RP situation or scenario.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Forcing an emote on to someone, being overpowered, god like or doing something unrealistic for your character!

Bethany was born on the seas, in a small ship owned by her family & their small pirate crew. It was here they boated around the continents of Arcas, faring the seas. They would stop off at some of the port cities around the continent such as Sutica to take pit-spots if they needed land. Other than that they would plunder ships when and where they could.

 

However, when Bethany was 22 they came up against a ship that was in sight, a trading vessel, but upon boarding it, it had lots of hidden stowed away guards – a bait, they had struck down the pirates and claimed their ship. Bethany had to jump in to the sea and swim away to the nearest city, she eventually found herself in the Orc city of Krugmar. It was here she spent a year or so learning the ways of orcish combat, she aims to one day claim revenge against the guards who plundered her families ship, as well as this she has ambitions to make her own pirate crew that she aims will become one of the most nefarious across the seas.

 

Maybe one day you will come upon Bethany, pray to ye’ that it is not upon the seas for you will be plundered!

Physical Description: A pirate woman with dyed hair, an eyepatch and red hair, sea-faring clothes and bright eyes.
Roleplay Scenario:

“Oih. Ah’ need te’ find tha’ nearest tavern te’ quench me thirst!” she announced with a toothy smile, shoving her orcish brothers along as she went in search of it.
