Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"Expecting me?", Lythia says, as she slowly comes closer to the hag. While walking toward her, she looks at every detail of the room. "So you're the one, who knows where my brothers are?", she asked before taking the seat.
The hag looks at her and symbols her to sit down first. "I know you might have gathered plenty of questions, but answer my question first.", the hag said in a firm tone. She continues "Especially, what happened after I had last seen you?"
As Lythia sat down, weirded out by the hag's overall appearance so far, she quietly said "Sure...? But-", she mumbles, "When so have you seen me the last time?"
"You must have repressed it... After your parents died, I had given you and your sister the first shelter. Then, one night you both were gone..."
Lythia tries to remember, but can't seem to. She shakes her head and answers the question "Ivy and I were walking from village to village, sustaining ourselves, but I've decided to search for our brothers. But to come back to my question" , she hesitates for a moment. Nevertheless, she continues "Do you know where I can find my brothers?"
The hag stands up and waves, "come with me"
Before they could leave the tent, Lythia passes out.
She wakes up, outside of the town, not seeming to remember anything of the previous conversation.
