Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example:
You sit on the cushion while not breaking eye contact with the hag. "Okay." you take a deep breath and exhale while staring at the candlelight to gather your thoughts. "It's a bit funny now that I think about it. My childish actions during have impacted every breath I've been taking ever since running off.." you smile to yourself and remember, that the hag doesn't yet know the full picture "- from my parents, that is! Absolute annoyances. After a tumultuous couple of moons spent in the cities, a lovely lady by the name Cresence Sythaerin of took me under her wing.". You tap your feet on the ground a couple of times "I still recall the day so well. I was polishing the skull of a fox in an alley. These objects once belonging to a living being spoke to me for some reason. That's when I heard an inquisitive voice next to me- what is a young 'aheral such as you doing in a place like this?". You bite your cheek "I presume she saw something in me that even I at the time did not.". You roll your eyes to lighten the atmosphere "It's been only about a year now, but I've been living with her kin ever since! A dramatical shift from what I grew up with."
