Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"You've been expecting... Me?" She chuckles, and shrugs her shoulders "well, alright then, lets get into it." She takes a seat, her unserious attitude seeming to shift slightly to reveal her utter discomfort. "I mean what's there to say really? Mom's dead, not that I ever really knew her anyway... Me and my brother are just sort of... wandering I guess. He'd probably have something more intelligent to say." She rubs the back of her neck, letting out another nervous chuckle "We were sort of... unwelcome at the last place. As far as I was told mom met some guy, fell in 'love' or whatever, little did he know she was married, big guy, lots of money, they hid it while she was alive but as soon as she was out of the way, what use is there for a couple bastards, right? Anyway, so we went around a bit, my brother basically raised me, never really knew dad, don't think he cared much honestly..." She sighs, letting the silence consume the tent as she studies the old woman "So like... what do you want with me again?"
