You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Jean hesitantly sits down on the cushion curius how this old hag knows him as he is sure he has never met this old hag before in his life. Against his better judgement he decides to humor the old hag and tells her his reason for coming to the swamp. "Well you see, I was on my way to another town to meet an old friend of mine there, as I heard he might have a job for me. Unfortunately I lost my way there and have been wandering the land trying to find the right way. It was at that moment where I saw the light of this small town in the swamp, and so I decided to come and restock my supplies and also see if anyone knew which way I should go." He then tells the old hag "Before I say anymore, I need to ask you why were you expecting me? I dont recall to have met you before."...........
