    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is playing to have your way/will to win every level or beat every enemy, and extending the power of your character beyond possible.

Auralynn Almanzar was born in Okarn'thilln, by her mother Sephoa Almanzar, a Farmer. Since she was little she was thought to be humble, brave and adventurous (always getting into trouble.). Her mother tried to teach her all she could, from cooking and cleaning to a small bit of self-defense. One night her mother had gone out to go gather some herbs for a soup, but never came back. The next day Auralynn decided to go out and look for her, but never found her. Since that day, she vowed she would find her mother and hasn't given up looking. She was about 32 when she first heard about magic and is interested in learning. She hopes that maybe someday if she does find her mother, she could go back to Okarn'thilln with her and possibly raise a family there.

Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 40
Physical Description: White Hair, Blue Eyes, Approx. 6'0ft, and a rather thin build. Usually wears clothes that are light and reveal a bit of her stomach.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
