Reyrketill is a teen-aged Highlander, who also hails from a deeply-rooted Volik ancestry. He grew up in heavily wooded outskirts of Norland, but wants to learn more about his past now that he's old enough to see the world for himself. He is curious about his ancestry, but every time the topic is brought up, his parents refuse to talk about it because they don’t want their son to venture outside of what they have established for themselves as safe. His parents' experiences with the Moonfire Massacre and the devastation it brought upon the Volik people have traumatized them from ever subjecting anyone else to what life was like for them before they escaped and found refuge Norland. Reyrketill has grown up learning different trades from his father, and has been able to find steady work within his small village with those skills. He longs for a greater purpose in life, though, and feels a calling to document his ancestry and start a record of who they were. With this, he feels like his work would help others like him who are trying to figure out who they are and what made them who they are.
"H-hello", he began. "Adventure brings me here! I am in search of new work outside of Norland, and was wondering if you could lead me in the right direction?"
The gentleman nodded, and winked, exclaiming, "Aye, well you've came to just the right place. Meet me back here at noon, and I'll have one of my friends introduce themselves who could use your hands around here!"
