After departing from the wavering boat and taking a few heeled steps toward the port, she retrieved her parasol from her hip, opening it up with a flourish. Beneath the shade of said parasol, Ophélie was mid-motion further from the, quite frankly, sickening waters when a man approached, causing her to narrowly avoid dropping her umbrella altogether out of surprise. Despite the.. quite clear disdain on her face, she straightened herself, before speaking.
"If it interests you so.. I am here for herbal-related reasons. Along with such, I am looking to browse the nearest library, for.. similar topics."
Ophélie's reluctance to further delve into her reasoning for sailing all the way to this specific port was obvious from the look-over she gave him, before she continued on her way toward the bustling marketplace; without so much as a passing glance. Apparently she was convinced this was explanation enough! Her choice of attire conflicted quite harshly with the surrounding stalls and people adorning such brightly coloured fabrics, though that didn't stop her from following the hanging signs hinting toward anywhere selling literature.
