    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when someone uses information which was gained through out of character means to their advantage in character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone does actions in character which could be considered either unrealistic, or one-sided and unfair, and it is also considered powergaming to make your characted godlike (completely immortal or untouchable etc.).

Varen eyes the man’s attire as he approaches him. “Do I know you?” He asks, looking confused as the man starts asking him questions about his ambitions. He responds: “No, I’m not here for any of that. I’m mainly here because I’m looking for some new ingredients or spices to experiment with.” Varen flashes the man a brief smile before he starts observing the various stalls behind him.
