    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information you didn't gain through IC means. An example of this would be person A telling person B about their secret and then person C knowing about it even though they weren't present.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is overgaming your roleplay in order to win. An example of Powergaming would be Person A wanting a pot of gold and therefore does three backflips, sneaking into a castle and secretly kills seven guards all in quick and unethical manner.
