Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Panneth approaches nervously, "I-...I...I'm really not sure." She quivers nervously, all she has ever known is the forest, completely isolated and on her own. "I've spent my entire life on my own, hunting, foraging, building my life. I've never left my grove until eveyrhting started to wither away." Panneth shifts uncomfortably in the tent. The scent of rotted wood and moss bring comfort to her and she starts to settle. "I always knew there were others out there, I was just happy on my own. But now the woods I've lived in are decimated, and I had no choice but leave."
*Panneth believes she is a wood elf, even though she is likely a high elf that was somehow abandoned in the woods. Through her journey and interaction with other players she will discover that she is not like other wood elves.
