    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when one uses information they learned OOC to there advantage IC. For example Morty sees in ooc chat that Rick is planning a cue. Morty goes up to Rick IC and attacks him.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone blocks someone's ability to use there character and forces them to do what they want. For example *John stabs Smith in the chest killing him*

       To begin the story of Ras Bray we must begin with the story of Lilian Ashborn. At the age of 14 Lily was married to another noble and shortly after became pregnant. His was named Ras, Ras Ashborn. By the age of 8 Lord Ashborn knew the he could not keep the boy. He spoke out against him, and the family. He did not follow the families militaristic traditions and so  Ras’s grandfatherthrough Ras onto the streets of Santegia hoping he would die. However Ras did not die. The boy grew strong as the Ashborns weakened and adopted the new last name of Bray as he was certainly not an Ashborn. Ras learned to use his fists to get what he wanted and that everything was fair play on the streets of Santegia. 10 years later when Ras was 18 the last of the Ashborns was assassinated by their rivals. However instead of the large inheritance passing to Ras it was given away to the friends of the Ashborns. His families obliteration went mostly unnoticed by Ras. Now Ras is a young man in the streets of Santegia with no skills other than how to throw a good punch.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
