Hailing from Aegrothond, Almiel's life as a child was more so about him getting into trouble-his first memory is of being thrown out of a bakery for trying to steal an extra pastry for himself- so it's no surprise that Almiel stubbornly continued his life of petty crimes, from stealing pets that were being mistreated to trespassing. Both of his parents were Almenodrim, and thus Almiel's strange appearance- His skin being pale but not grey, short stature, and his brown hair and eyes- to both his parents and two older siblings emphasized infidelity within the family. As such, he wasn't regarded as warmly as his siblings were, and stubbornly disobeyed his family's orders. In school, he was almost hungry for knowledge, still acting out against his teachers but otherwise being very willing to learn. Despite his fiery nature, he rarely was involved in fights, choosing not to cross the barrier from hatred to physical violence. He decided shortly after becoming an adult that it'd be best for him to leave and possibly learn something new. Nowadays he rarely speaks of his family, knowing that as soon as he left they hadn't uttered a word about him since.
